date night baby!

Hello! Happy Monday. This week, due to a sweet friend’s request, I am going to be writing about some fun date night ideas. Caleb and I intentionally have one night a week where we get to just be present with one another and do something fun to take our mind off of our schooling. I wanted to share some fun ideas and things we have gotten to do together.

Ax throwing:

  • we went on a double date with our friends and it was just so much fun! Highly recommend.

Art museum:

  • On Tuesdays in our college town, this museum is free for students and so, we knew we had to try it out! It was so fascinating!

Watch a movie on the roof:

  • One night, we grabbed some blankets, our laptop, and just sat on the roof of my house and watched a movie. LOVED THIS ONE!

Go to a dollar tree and plan your date according to what you buy:

  • we ended up buying a ton of things! we got a plastic bat and ball and played baseball in the street, bought checkers, sudoku puzzles and a ton of stuff for minute to win it games. THIS WAS ALSO A FAV!

Top golf:

  • we have not had the chance to do this one yet, but i am super excited about this one.

Picnic:

  • awe, this was our first date. it is a little chilly for this one, but i really enjoyed it.

go to christmas lights:

  • we went to this one with some friends and it was so cute and so fun! double dates are seriously the best.

Kahoot game night!

  • this one was so much fun! I was in Texas, so we obviously couldn't spend this date night together, so we made a 50 question kahoot and zoomed one another. We shared our screens and played a "get to know me" kahoot.

Make puppy chow

  • another double date (:

Make pizza together

  • I LOVE PIZZA, so this was for sure a favorite date night.

Build a snowman

  • this was the same night as our dollar tree date. It snowed a ton and it was perfect snow for building a snow man.

Escape room

  • another double date. this one was super fun! it ended up being super sketch but that's a story for another time.

Yoga poses

  • have you ever watched couple yoga pose challenge? if not, highly recommend. it is so funny!

Driving in the city at night

  • i love the city (minneapolis/st. paul) so we drove through the city when it was quiet and so so beautiful.

Golf trick shots

  • oh my goodness, this was another favorite of mine! we used plastic cups, a gold club and a golf ball to do some fun golf trick shots.

These were all so much fun and I am so excited I got to share these with you. If you do end up doing any of these, let me know whether or not you enjoyed it!

thank you for reading, thank you for loving one another. <3
