i will include location and a little bit about why i love it as well as their website for further information.
revolution in black river falls, wisconsin:
oh my gosh, this one was probably one of my first favorite coffee shops when i was in high school. now i know what you are thinking, i probably shouldn't have been drinking coffee in high school, and you know what, you're probably right. it's a tough addiction to break.
ECDC in eau claire, wisconsin:
this is also probably one of my first favorite coffee shops as well. they have an incredible menu of food, as well as coffee! highly recommend this one. it is also located in the beautiful downtown area of eau claire surrounded by other cute shops!
juel modern apothecary in lebanon, new hampshire:
i could go off on this one! my brother was going to law school in vermont and i was so excited to try an new coffee shop while we were in the area and this awesome healthy juice and coffee shop came up on the maps and i knew we had to try it out.
hope and anchor coffeehouse in chetek, wisconsin:
one of my favorite little memories.
kickapoo coffee company in viroqua, wisconsin:
a major love right here! this is one of my favorite places to study, although, it is a bit of a hike i have not gone in a while now. i also think they recently changed their name. yup, i just checked, they changed the name. it is now known as wonderstate coffee.
grounded in lacrosse, wisconsin:
one of my absolute favorite places to study! although a little small, their coffee is amazing, the environment is amazing, and overall an amazing coffee shop.
fiddlehead in rochester, minnesota:
cuuuuuutest plant coffee shop ever. it is literally greens everywhere and such a feel good environment!
franklin's in sparta, wisconsin:
i am not going to lie....i have never had their coffee, but the owner and the environment are the absolute best. i highly recommend grabbing a good book or some homework and checking this cute little coffee shop out.
kickapoo coffee company in bayfield, wisconsin:
woah! brain wave! but i have been going to this coffee shop every summer with my family and they also just changed their name to wonderstate. i bet wonderstate just bought out kickapoo coffee company or kickapoo coffee company changed their name. i guess i didn't necessarily realize they were a chain. i just thought it sold a lot of their coffee at other shops. besides that point, love this place!
impact coffee in decorah, iowa:
my friends emily, alex, sophie, and i went to decorah for a weekend and we literally sat in this ginormous coffee shops for 2 or 3 hours just playing card games with the intent of going to do homework, obviously. it was such a fun environment with so many people!
driftless bike n bean in trempealeau, wisconsin:
GUYS!!! this one is so delicious and unique! it is a coffee shop, but also a bike shop! how cool is that.
pilgrim in seattle, washington:
i just looooove their little coffee truck, but they recently opened up a coffeehouse where you can physically walk in and take a seat!
spyhouse in minneapolis, minnesota:
OH MY GOSH. another favorite for sure! this environment is so dope. i love its simplicity and their coffee not to mention is so delicious.
dogwood in minneapolis, minnesota:
this one has a few locations! this one is a goodie. i have only been to two of their locations, but both were pretty sick. i love the colors they incorporate into their shop and their seating is also pretty fire. it for sure made me wish i lived in the cities for school for a hot second.
quixotic in minneapolis, minnesota:
i am not going to lie, i don't really remember what their coffee tastes like, but i think it plays a significant role because it was one of the first coffee shops i had ever been to in the cities, therefore, i am a fan!
penny's in minneapolis, minnesota:
i could go on and on about this one! i feel like i keep saying "i love the environment" but i really do. i think the environment plays a huge role in how a coffee shop can make you feel and this one is just so fun and unique. they have a ton of different locations but all provide a similar environmental feel.
jb and c in fort lauderdale, florida:
i absolutely loved visiting fort lauderdale and i am going to relate this one to juel modern apothecary in the aspect that they have some healthy juices and smoothies, but also, their coffee is very similar. highly recommend!
gosh, i have been to too many and i know i am missing some of my absolute favorites but that calls for another post. but those are just a few that i have just loved visiting and going to. i would encourage you to check them out and share in that love of exploring with me! if you have any further questions about them, feel free to reach out! (:
also, a lot of these continue to have some COVID restrictions so i recommend calling ahead and checking out what those might look like or if there are time limits on the length of a stay.
i hope you loved this post as much as i enjoyed writing it. i would love to hear what some of your favorites are down below (:
